More about the workshop and MBSR...
The practices I share and teach are simple, straight-forward amd evidence-based.
While I can appreciate a little "woo-woo" in my wellness routine, evidence and science are at the core of the practices I guide and teach.
My training in MBSR, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, is the foundation of the work I do and the practices I teach. Used in hospitals, schools, and by doctors and therapists, MBSR is the most widely researched form of meditation with proven techniques and measurable results.
MBSR has been proven to help people :
- reduce stress and anxiety
- be more present and self-aware
- become less reactive
- improve focus,resilience and overall well-being.
- live more intentionally and get off auto-pilot
- cultivate compassion towards oneself and others
Change your mind. Change your life.
Think about meditation like exercise for your mind. Every time you practice, it’s like a workout for your brain. Rewiring neural pathways, breaking unhealthy patterns of conditioned thoughts and behaviors.
CLIENT TESTIMONIALS...
Tricia's intro workshop at the cloud was the best! She provided great context for what a mindful practice is, how it helps you physically and mentally, and practical ways to incorporate it into your life. Her calming energy and supportive way made the practice so approachable.
The tools she taught helped me to establish my own practice, including new ways to relieve stress, journal through emotions and other ways to bring mindfulness into my daily routine.
Everything she shared was very doable, not overwhelming, which is really important as a soccer mom with kids, work and a hectic schedule. Even with just 5 minutes a day, I can change the way I see things, the way I react and respond for the better. Highly recommend!
