Come join us at Cadence Kitchen for a fun-filled evening of learning how to play the ancient game of Mahjong! In this beginner-friendly lesson, you'll learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong. We will walk you through the Charleston, how to decode the National Mahjong League Card (NMJL) Card, and the steps to creating a winning hand. Come ready to learn, have fun, and discover why Mahjong will be your new favorite hobby!

No experience or equipment needed. We will provide all game materials for use during the lesson and instruction guides to take home.

Your ticket includes appetizers and dessert. Cadence Kitchen is steps from the Main Street train station in Downers Grove.

Important things to note:

• Arrive up to a half hour prior to the event to get your drink and get settled. We will start promptly at 6.
• If you're signing up with friends, we'll do our absolute best to seat you together but we can't make any guarantees.
• All ticket sales are final but you may transfer your ticket to a friend - just let us know!
• Only tickets sold through Eventbrite will be honored.
