In this two-day course, we will immerse ourselves in the world of Lino Printing and unleash your creativity during this hands-on workshop.
Ideal for beginners, this workshop will teach you how to create your own hand-carved and printed pieces using a combination of single-block, jigsaw technique, and multi-block technique, as well as how these methods can work together to produce beautiful, colourful works. Don’t worry if you’re not a skilled artist; all you need is the desire to create.
We will be printing without a press, providing you with foundational knowledge that you can apply to your art practice at home. This hands-on, practical session will equip you with a broad technical overview to kick-start your printmaking journey.
Throughout the workshop, we will cover design transfer, cutting techniques, ink preparation and mixing, and print registration. You will receive guidance and support as you explore these processes and develop your artistic skills. This is an opportunity to not only learn the basics but also to experiment with new techniques and create your own artwork.
Our small class size of 10 provides a focused learning environment. All tools and materials will be provided; just bring yourself and some design ideas. Let your imagination run wild and discover the magic of Lino Prints!
