Introduction to LeatherworkingA Great Christmas Gift for yourself or a friend.
Join us in this 2.5-hour workshop where you will be guided through making your own leather wallet. This project will introduce you to the important steps in leather working and give you the basic knowledge to make more advanced leather projects in the future.
Program includes
Understanding how to choose the right leather
Tracing and cutting the template on leather
Matting the fibers
Dying the leather (optional)
Gluing techniques
Punching and hand stitching
Properly Finishing the edges through burnishing and edge painting
Every participant will leave with a handmade leather wallet and the knowledge to do it again on their own!
All materials and tools are included in the workshop.
There will be something to snack on, free coffee and tea.
This workshop will be limited to 8 people per course so you have more opportunity to ask questions and follow along closely in the process.
note***the course is taught in English but the teacher understands Danish very well so questions can of course be in Danish
