Introduction to Investing in Individual Stocks and Investment Clubs

As part of the Alaska Chapter's series of free classes, the Loussac Library and the Alaska Chapter of Better Investing are hosting introduction to investing in individual companies and to investment clubs class. The class will focus on BetterInvesting techniques to select and analyze to see if they might be a good fit for your portfolio. May's class will also discuss setting up or joining an investment club which could help you and your club members to continue to learn about investing from each other.

This class is appropriate for any beginning investor and for those who want to learn more about personal finances. Our goal is to provide information and education to help you improve your investment results.

The class will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6:00pm at the Z. J. Loussac Public Library in the Moose Room. The class should last around 1 hour including a question-and-answer period.

David Lenig – a Director of the Alaska Chapter for over 17 years, current Chapter Treasurer and former Chapter President - will be presenting the class and answering questions.
