Introduction to Edible Plants Hike
Advertisement
Join us for an easy to moderate hike (approximately 1 mile) through unpaved trails in woods and fields. Learn to identify some easily recognizable edible wild plants, and those you should avoid. Please bring water, dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear (sandels not recommended). You may encounter insects including mosquitoes and ticks. This event will take place in the rain but not if there is thunder or lightning. We will meet at the Trailhead Building, accessible from the Eight Mile entrance to the park. All ages welcome. No registration required.
