This course is for the curious beginner or anyone who just enjoys drawing.Designed and delivered by Saltburn based Gill Sigsworth-Goulding; a highly experienced and qualified art lecturer and workshop leader.
This course will help you explore and trust your own authentic responses, while gaining confidence in a range of materials including a variety of drawing materials and mixed media.
Each session includes activities, which develop your observational skills and creative techniques. Learn to respond in lively and playful ways, which help you to let go of 'getting it right' or being perfect.
The 5 week course will include:
Introduction to Mark Making
Charcoal and still life observation
Colour theory
Painting with Acrylics
Pencil drawing
Together, we will share our inspiration and creativity, while supporting each other along the way.
All materials and refreshments are included.
(£25 per session to be paid in advance - £125 in total)
