Introduction To Digital Art (Character Manga) Workshop - VAC Open House

This workshop is suitable for 8 years old and above.

This workshop provides an engaging introduction to digital art on the iPad through the creation of a manga-style character.

In this 1 hour session , participants will learn how to use drawing apps (such as Procreate), exploring essential tools like brushes, layers, and colour selection. Guided step-by-step, students will develop their character from sketch to clean line art, followed by colouring and basic shading techniques.

Perfect for beginners and aspiring young artists, this workshop focuses on building confidence while learning how to create expressive manga-style characters digitally. By the end of the session, each participant will complete their own unique character illustration on the iPad.
