Introduction to Community-Owned Energy Generation

Join us in person for an interactive session where you'll learn the basics of community energy projects and get introduced to the CARES funding opportunities.

What to expect:

• An introduction to the opportunities of community energy

• Case studies of recent successful projects

• A step-by-step guide to planning, funding, and delivering your community group’s project

• Introduction to support available to help you progress

• An opportunity to talk through your ideas, opportunities and challenges

You’ll leave with inspiration, better knowledge and tools to take the next steps to generate community income via energy projects.

The session will be suitable for members of community groups who are interested in developing enterprising opportunities for their communities and may consider a community energy project. No prior knowledge is required.

Light refreshments will be provided. Please register for a free place so we know how many people to cater for.
