Art More Place is starting the New Year right by offering: Introduction to Colored Pencil Workshop! This informative event educates students about the magical world of colored pencil. This is a guided workshop, designed and taught by professional colored pencil illustrator and art instructor Carol Muro. For the past 8 years, she has shared her 25 plus years of colored pencil expertise with students of all ages and levels of experience. In this workshop, students will get creative and explore different methods, materials and subjects, all while having fun!Two main illustration projects will be the focus during this four hour course. Students will develop art using different types of colored pencils, including wax and oil based varieties. In addition, students will learn about many types of papers and which are best suited for colored pencil.
For those who love colored pencil, but never knew how to get the results they wanted, this is certainly the workshop to attend. No experience necessary. Enrollment is due by Wednesday, January 1. A supply list is provided after registration. For more information: DM or contact: 321-289-2592.
