Introduction to Color Theory

Step into the world of color in this five-week workshop with artist and educator Pam Klein, inspired by Josef Albers’ color theory.
Through hands-on experiments with colored paper, participants will explore how color shifts in different contexts, how perception shapes what we see, and how color communicates and expresses emotion—all with an emphasis on observation and discovery.
The workshop takes place in the Lower Gallery, surrounded by an exhibit of Klein’s vibrant paintings, creating an immersive and inspiring learning environment. Read more at barnsofrosehill.org/community-education/color-theory.
The class meets Saturdays—May 9, May 23, May 30, June 6, and June 13 (no class May 16)—from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Registration is $125 per person for the full five-week workshop (no individual classes), and includes all materials. Register at app.dvforms.net/api/dv/38kelx.
