Come join us for our Introduction to Chihuahuan Desert Plants sunset hike event at Wakeem/Teschner Nature Preserve at Resler Canyon! Learn all about the unique flora that thrives in this desert ecosystem. This in-person event led by botanist expert Paul Hotchkin, will allow you to see these plants up close and personal. Don't miss this chance to expand your knowledge and appreciation for the beauty of desert plants. See you there!

What to Bring: Please be sure to wear sturdy comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sun protection, flashlights (we have plenty for you to borrow!), and bring water and snacks.

Where to Park: Please be sure not to block any entrances to houses near the dead-end entrance there are areas in the neighnorhood nearby where you can park!
