About this Event
Join us for this specialist class introducing and exploring argentium silver.
This class is suitable for beginners but is perfect for those with a little experience wanting to expand their knowledge and learn about this unique silver alloy! The day will be spent delving into its many properties, being guided through the art of granulation and making up to two rings that will showcase this wonderful metal.
There are so many advantages to using this gorgeous alloy aside from its bright white appearance, it has a lower copper content than sterling silver which makes it hypoallergenic and can eliminate traditional problems, such as firestain, and tarnishing. It also has huge benefits when working with it, due to a higher melting point and increased durability, you can fuse and join pieces together without the use of solder which can open up a world of possibilities, impossible to create with sterling silver.
This is a full day class, that will have an hour lunch break, as well as the materials needed to create your own unique argentium piece, we also provide tea, coffee, and biscuits, or feel free to bring along your own!
