Join us on the 14th August to learn about the impact of gambling harms and what the NGSN are doing to support people in the East of England.About this Event
This conference, organised by members of the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN) and its partners, will explore the impact of gambling related harms in the UK and provide insight into how they are being addressed.
We have a range of speakers, providing a comprehensive overview of issues across the East and Southeast of England, with a key focus on the support availible and how local professionals can help.
Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Key figures around gambling related harms in the UK
- Suicide data and prevention
- Young people and neurodiversity
- The impact of gambling on families
- How to signpost and refer for support
- The impact of treatment and residential care
- How individuals and organisations can help reduce harms
Alongside guest speakers, we will also have; panels including members of the NGSN and partners, lived experience testimonies and time for networking.
