Intro to Watercolors - Sunset

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced painter, this course will open up your creativity while guiding you through the techniques to create a beautiful watercolor sunset.

Ages 12 and up are welcome!
Students under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Both child and adult must register and pay the tuition fee.

Bring to the first class: (costs are estimated)

$15 - Watercolor paints*

$10 - Watercolor brushes

$5 - Watercolor palette and container for water (disposable plastic plate and cup can be used)

$12 - Watercolor paint paper pad (Strathmore 9x12)

$5 - Watercolor board or foam board to tape or staple the paper to (11x14 preferred, but must be larger than 9x12)

$5 - Masking tape or stapler

*Watercolor kits may be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or similar craft store.

Tubed paints are more expensive but are better quality. If you choose this route, you will need:

• Ultramarine Blue and Cerulean Blue
• Magenta Red and Cadmium Red
• Cadmium Yellow Deep and Cadmium Yellow Light
• Burnt Sienna and Raw Umber
• Payne's Gray
