Intro to Vinyl DJing for Selectors w/ Kitty The Disc Jockey

Are you a selector? Where many DJs focus on beat matching and manipulating sounds to create the vibe, you focus on curation, taste, and storytelling. Rooted in reggae and sound system culture, a selector prioritizes the choice of the song itself over how it is mixed into the next track. We will discuss the role of the selector and put our skills to practice.
