Want to start riding single track but aren’t sure you’re ready? Worried about holding your group back on the trail? Or maybe you’re ready to take the next step and learn skills like front wheel lifts, log crossings, and the foundations of a wheelie?
Then this is the course you’ve been looking for.
Captain Hurley’s Intro to Trail Riding Clinic is designed to build real-world trail skills in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
We’ll start with the fundamentals and progressively build confidence through drills that teach proper braking, clutch and throttle control, body positioning, balance, and obstacle management.
This isn’t a generic riding clinic. You’ll learn not only how to perform each skill, but why it works—giving you the knowledge and confidence to safely think through challenges you encounter on the trail.
Topics include:
🏍️ Safe low-speed bike control
🏍️ Front and rear brake techniques
🏍️ Basic cornering skills
🏍️ Throttle and clutch control
🏍️ Getting unstuck on the trail
🏍️ Crossing small obstacles
🏍️ Your first single track experience
For riders who are ready, we’ll also explore more advanced concepts such as line selection, awkward obstacles, hill restarts, and lifting the front wheel.
Class size is limited to just 8 riders for personalized coaching and plenty of one-on-one attention.
