Hands-On Intro to Sourdough
A 2-Hour Beginner Experience with Great Lakes Sourdough
Curious about sourdough but not sure where to begin? This hands-on class is the perfect place to start.
This is not just a demonstration. You will step into the real process of sourdough baking and experience it yourself.
✨ What you will do:
•• Score and bake your own sourdough loaf
• Mix your own sourdough pizza dough by hand to take home
• Take home your own jar of active Great Lakes Sourdough starter
• Learn the fundamentals of natural fermentation and how sourdough works
• Bake and enjoy fresh sourdough pizza together
🍞 You will leave with:
• Your freshly baked sourdough loaf
• Your own sourdough pizza dough
• Your own jar of active sourdough starter
• The knowledge and confidence to continue baking at home
This class is intentionally welcoming and approachable. Perfect for beginners. No experience necessary.
