This interactive two-hour workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of songwriting through the lens of hip-hop and contemporary music. You'll explore how artists transform ideas, emotions, and personal experiences into compelling songs.

Through guided writing exercises, lyric analysis, and collaborative activities, you'll learn the building blocks of song structure, develop techniques for writing engaging verses and memorable hooks, and build confidence expressing yourself creatively. Using instrumental beats as inspiration, you'll begin writing an original song and have the chance to share your work in a supportive, encouraging environment.
