Intro to Snowshoe at Schoharie CrossingFebruary 12th - 2pm-3:30pm
At the Visitor Center/Museum
Join Paul for an intro to snowshoeing program.* Bring your own set, or call to reserve one of the pair we have here at the site (youth and adult sizes).
The program will cover the fundamentals of snowshoeing, such as turning, inclines, and other techniques. We’ll take a snowshoe along the old canal and then warm up with some hot cocoa.
*If there’s no snow, we’ll just take a leisurely walk along the old Erie Canal. Heavy rain or icy conditions cancel this event.
