Make a pillow case! Lean basic sewing machine skills and terminology, rotary cutter and the difference between pressing and ironing.

This workshop is for the beginner who wants to learn how to sew using a sewing machine. You will gain an understanding of basic sewing terminology. Will learn the difference between

pressing fabric and ironing. You’ll learn how to use a rotary cutter properly to avoid accidently cutting yourself. Plus you will gain confidence on threading a sewing machine and winding a bobbin. While making a beautiful pillowcase for yourself or as a gift for the holidays.

The sewing room is located on the second floor and the studio has 3 straight stitch industrial sewing machines available to use, however it is encouraged for you to bring your own if you have one.
