Come join us at MECCA on Tuesdays from April 8th- May 13th for a fun and interactive sewing workshop with the talented Kayla Boyce! Whether you're a beginner or looking to graduate from hand sewing to a machine, this in-person event is perfect for you. Bring your own sewing machine and join us at 555 High St, every week for six weeks to learn the basics of sewing and create your own projects. Our experienced instructor Kayla Boyce will guide you through the process, from threading your machine to sewing your first project. Learn to set up and operate your sewing machine with confidence, and build your sewing skills. You will learn about different types of fabric, basic seam and construction techniques, how to read and follow patterns, and hand-finishing stitches. Each week you will complete a small, guided project designed to introduce new techniques while building on existing skills. Project materials are provided, please bring your own sewing machine.
