Intro to Sculpting with MudSlinger Toby Wayne Larson
Ready to get your hands dirty and bring your ideas to life in clay?
Join local artist and instructor Toby Wayne Larson for a fun, welcoming introduction to hand-building and sculpting techniques at ART321. Whether you’re completely new to clay or looking to expand your ceramic skills beyond the wheel, this class is designed to help you explore texture, form, character, and creativity in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Students will learn foundational sculpting techniques while creating original clay pieces each week. Toby’s approachable teaching style makes this class a great fit for beginners and experienced artists alike.
Wednesdays
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Beginning this month, we’ll also be adding a special glazing session on the last Wednesday of each month during the same class time for students who would like to glaze and finish pieces created in class.
Pre-registration is highly recommended, as this class fills up quickly.
