We are an active adult group that enjoys fun, fitness, and the
opportunity to share our sport.
This is the perfect opportunity to try something new and see just how different rowing on the water is than on an erg machine at the gym – spoiler alert – it’s way more fun!
Sessions includes on-land and on-water instruction with certified, enthusiastic coaches. All equipment is provided and no experience is required. You must be in proper physical condition (where you can lift a rowing shell overhead with fellow rowers, rest that weight on your shoulders and walk ~100ft).
Whether you’re looking for a recreational sport, want to race in regattas or literally test the waters – we have the right mix for you. Your registration also incudes a 2-week trial that begins after your intro-to-row session – come join our crew!
Instruction takes place in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake from 8a – 2p. There will be a short break in-between where a small lunch will be provided.
