Ready to get your hands dirty and unleash your inner artist? Join us at Unity Community Centre for a 4-week Basics of Pottery class! (Hand Building Only

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
Week 1: Learn about the pottery process. Introduction to working with clay. Learn and create the most basic form, the pinch pot. Learn and create a slab-build pot. Learn how to add additions, such as handles, to pieces.
Week 2: Free time to create. Receive guidance and support in creating whatever inspires you. Examples and templates for other possible items will be provided.
Week 3: Decorate your pieces with beautiful colors and designs.
Week 4: Learn about the glazing and firing process. Glaze your pieces and prepare for firing.

The number of items will vary depending on the learner, we’re estimating that you’ll be able to take home 3-5 items.
Price includes one bag of clay and 1 free admission to a weekly Pottery Club session held on Wednesdays and Sundays.
