Intro to Off Camera Lighting with Profoto

Class Description

If you have struggled with using flash or just want to learn how to use it better, this class will get you started. We will take some time to review the fundamentals of exposure, discuss what “stops” are, and how that applies to flash photography.

Some of the topics we will cover:

• Exposure Triangle
• Using Flash indoors to get better images
• Using flash outdoors and how to balance light
• Using flash at night
• The 4 key principles in lighting
• What is TTL, and when to use it
• What is high-speed sync

When you finish this class, you should have the foundation you need to begin to use off-camera flash with confidence. We might not get to Mastery, but we should eliminate the Mystery!
