Join local calligrapher, Kate Edwards, at Good Day Pottery & Art Studio to learn the basics of modern calligraphy! In this two and a half hour class you’ll learn about the supplies used for pointed pen calligraphy, how to hold a pen holder, letterforms and how they’re assembled, and troubleshooting tips and tricks. You’ll walk away with the ability to get ink flowing from nib to paper and all the tools needed to practice and develop your calligraphy skills. Supplies are included and are yours to keep!

Class packet containing upper and lowercase exemplars, practice sheets, practice words, and an abundance of tips, tricks, and resources
2-in-1 pen holder

About Kate:
Kate Edwards is a Little Rock native with over 6 years of professional experience. She has a passion for pointed pen, both traditional and modern scripts, and loves sharing this passion with others. She specializes in wedding calligraphy, custom keepsakes, and on-site calligraphy/engraving. She has been a member of the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) since 2019.
