Intro to Modern Brush Calligraphy

Join us for a fun afternoon learning modern brush calligraphy at Calgo Gardens! Brush calligraphy utilizes specific pens/markers that have flexible tips which allow you to create beautiful calligraphy strokes. Come solo or bring a friend, and feel free to BYO - let’s make it a fun afternoon! This workshop is best suited for beginners.

In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn tips and tricks for proper brush pen use, the basic calligraphy strokes, how to build letters and words, helpful tips to work through common challenges, and more!

Your registration includes:

• 2 hours of instruction and hands-on guidance

• Take-home calligraphy kit ($80+ value!): 3 high quality brush pens, Penned by Pervin's detailed introductory workbook, practice paper and tracing paper, blank card for practice, and personalized details
Feel free to arrive early and peruse through Calgo Gardens' amazing inventory of gifts, art, and more! Class will start promptly at 12pm (please allow time for parking in the lot)
