A six week series introducing you to what mindfulness is, why it works, and how to apply it in your daily life helping you to settle, observe what is going on within and around you and let go of the thoughts and habits that no longer serve you. The classes are one hour each week. The first class is on what mindfulness is and how to use the breath to calm the mind and body. The second class is on being mindful of the body and learning from its experience. The third is on mindful consumption and understanding what we allow into our minds and bodies. The fourth is on our thoughts, understanding their nature and learning how to make peace with them. The fifth is on understanding our emotions and making peace with them. And the sixth is on our mindful intentions and connecting mindfully with others.
