Intro to Laser Engraving

Join us for a guided introduction to the world of laser cutting and engraving. This non-hands-on demonstration will walk you through the process of preparing and sending digital designs to a laser engraver — from file setup and materials selection to safe operation and finishing techniques.

Whether you’re completely new or just looking to understand how our makerspace equipment works, this session is the perfect place to start.

Who it’s for: Open to both members and non-members.

Format: Demonstration only (no hands-on cutting during this session). Bonus: All attendees will receive a laser-cut, one-handed book holder to take home!
