🌟Are you ready to unleash your inner K-Pop star?🌟Join us for our very first Intro to K-Pop Dance Workshop at the Motion Arts Center! Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just curious about the K-Pop craze, this workshop is for YOU!
What is K-Pop? Short for Korean Pop, is a global musical phenomenon that transcends borders with its catchy melodies, impressive choreography, and visually stunning music videos. K-Pop encompasses a wide range of musical styles, including pop, hip-hop, R&B, and electronic dance music. Originating in South Korea, K-Pop is not merely a genre but a cultural phenomenon that has taken the world by storm.
✅ What to Expect: We’ll kick things off with a fun 10-minute warm-up to get your body moving. Then, we’ll dive into the exciting world of K-Pop fundamentals, learning essential footwork and arm movements that are the foundation of every awesome routine.
💫 Workshop Highlight: We’ll be learning the choreography to the electrifying track, “SNTY” (Standing Next to You)! We’ll break it down step-by-step, ensuring everyone can keep up and have a blast! Get ready to learn the full routine during our 1 hour and 30 minute dance session. Finally, we’ll finish with a relaxing 5-minute cool-down stretch to leave you feeling energized and refreshed.
💃🕺Workshop Level: This is an all-levels workshop, meaning no prior dance experience is necessary – just a love for K-Pop and a desire to move!
