Intro to Gravity Mini Camp CWOCC

Please come prepared to learn and ride in a safe environment with professional certified coaches, privately insured.
Gravity Coaches:
Brenda Zimmermann Thorpe GSMBC 2 Flow, PMBIA 2 Technical and Air, PSIA/AASI 1, CS1, (Children’s Specialist), 2026 GSMBC Mentor/Instructor Trainer North America, Wilderness First Responder
Kim Basala PMBIA 1, GSMBC Air and flow trained, First Aid
Each coach takes no more than 6 athletes for safety and industry recommended quality standard.
Intro to gravity and developing flow experience:
5 pm Welcome, introductions, goal sharing and bike checks
5:15 pm Foundations group learning
7:30 pm Trail application
8 pm Wrap up and farewell
Foundational skills-based learning includes the GSMBC and PMBIA model, a human centric approach. Build an entry point into gravity riding focused on confidence, inclusion, safety, and risk assessment with progressive learning aligned toward comfort, consistency, and correctly completing the techniques.

For the Love of BIKES online waiver will be required prior to participating for all participating in our outdoor learning: FTLOB Participant Waiver - For the Love of Bikes
Helmets and safe dependable shop quality mountain bikes are required. We recommend bikes have been inspected and recently tuned up prior to attending with ready to ride dependable bikes.
Please consider visiting a local CWOCC partnership bike shops for a tune-up and safety check prior to attending this event.
Suggest: full suspension and flat pedals, (not clips), along with full face helmet, knee and elbow pads.
While we will complete a brief bike check upon arrival, do not expect our team to have parts and be able to make repairs that would be wise to have already completed prior to attending.
