Intro to Flower Essences
About this Event
I will share what I have learned from my teachers about what flower essences are, how to make them, and ideas for ways to engage with them whether purchased or made. Please bring a notebook and writing utensil if you’d like to take notes. All ages welcome.
We may migrate to Heritage Park, weather permitting, so dress for outside
Žiara is a queer artist, creative creature, nature lover, and budding ceremonialist. They enjoy learning about art mediums by experimenting and playing, and finding artists and art that inspire them to create. They live their life as an expression of beauty, by bringing ceremony and ritual into the mundane acts of the day. They are striving to remember their belonging with the natural world by listening to the ways the more-than -human world is always offering us lessons and showing us the ways of beauty, simplicity, and the cyclical nature of things. Žiara believes in creating a new culture from our most magical dreams of interdependent care, abundance, and mutual thriving. They are currently practicing building new world through their involvement in Future Ancestors Folk Choir, Wild Grief, Olympia mutual aid apothecary, Roots and Rhythms outdoor pre-school, and Earth Keepers Wisdom School : A Year in Ceremony.
