About this Event
Exploding in popularity Eco resin, or Jesmonite, has become a go-to material for creating homeware pieces in under 40 minutes. Learn how to create your own Eco resin trays and homewares from scratch in this fun and exciting workshop in Sunbury.
Over two hours of casting fun, you'll learn the basics of colouring and casting with Eco resin.The best part of using Eco resin is it cures in just 40 minutes, so you can bring home what you produced straight after the workshop - the ultimate gratification!In this workshop you will:
- Learn about how to safely use eco-resin and its applications
- Design your colour palette
- Learn how to mix and add pigment to Eco resin
- Learn how to create your own terazzo chips
- Learn how to pour and cast into a silicone mould
- Sand and seal your creations for a finished look
By the end of the workshop, you will take home two finished pieces - a trinket tray and a piece of your choosing. Creativity is your only limitation!
A wide range of pigments, gold leaf/flakes and premade terrazzo flakes will also be available.
This class runs for 2 hours and is an ideal activity for that special date night, hen's party, birthday, mother-daughter activity or girl's get together.
