Intro to D & D / Refresher Class

Wanting to embark on your first quest as an adventurer in the world of Dungeons & Dragons? This intro session will give you all the tools you need to jump into the action and go on your own adventure with new friends, magical creatures and all the spells and swords your heart could desire.

Emily will lead this intro session and will be your Dungeon Master for Friday night sessions that will begin November 6th.

In this session, we will go over:

• What the D&D classes are and how you play them
• What the D&D races are and what the difference them means
• How to build a character sheet
• How spells and actions work, game mechanics, and what each die means
• Some very basic lore/ history of the Forgotten Realms, the canon world of D&D
• Some information and sneak peeks of the campaign we are about to start playing!

Your Dungeon Master will be there to answer any questions and help you get your characters ready for the campaign! In addition, you will receive reference materials of the information we go over.

Once you register, you will be emailed the discord link for players to contact the DM.

There are two ticket tiers:

1. General Admission- this is your ticket for the class and reference sheets to take home.
2. General Admission + Starter Swag add-on- this is your ticket for the class and reference sheets to take home, plus a mystery bag of dice, pen, and special notebook

There will also be tiered levels of players in the campaigns.

-There will be a lead cast that commit to being at most of the sessions of the campaign. These players will have a back story to their character that will be worked into the campaign.

-Then, there will be recurring cast who will be regularly involved in the play of the campaign, but their back story won't be woven into the campaign.

-Finally, there will be the support cast who would still be a part of the campaign but can't commit to being at every session.
