Registration Required: call 269-673-4625
The Allegan Conservation District will teach us all about the benefits of composting and how you can incorporate it into your daily life, from starting small-scale apartment buckets to maintaining backyard piles. Additionally, we’ll learn about speciality composting methods, such as wormcasting and bokashi bins. This session will leave you with all the knowledge you need to start your journey to less food waste and more free soil amendments for your lawn, raised beds, gardens, or even houseplants! Each program attendee can enter a raffle to win a bokashi kitchen composter at the end of the presentation. Space is limited, so registration is required. Call the library to register. 269-673-4625
