Intro to Circular Weaving: Bird's Nest Workshop with River in Biddeford

Students will tie cotton warp across an embroidery hoop in a spoked pattern and weave in a circle to create a bird's nest pattern. Students will learn how to set up a circular warp, plain weaving and soumak weaving, and weaving in the ends.
