Intro to Chine Collé

Join us to try chine collé, a printmaking technique that uses two layers of paper to create a subtle background for the blockprinted image! Participants will carve a 4x6" block using linocutting/blockprinting techniques, and then will use tissue paper to create a second colorful layer below their block.
This will create a beautiful background or add some color to their designs. This class is perfect for beginners, or those who have already taken an Intro to Blockprinting class and want to add another skill to their printmaking toolkit. All supplies are provided, and use of instructor's tools is included in the workshop. Bring your creativity and make something cool with us! Instructor: Sweet Celery Design. Fee: $35
