Intro to Carbine Class
Saturday, May 4th, 1:00-4:00PM
2 hours classroom time
1 hour range time (50 rounds)
This is a basic rifle class geared toward those who are new to the AR platform. We will cover nomenclature and function of the main parts of the rifle, field stripping and basic maintenance, zeroing and confirming sights and/or optics at different distances, rifle manipulation, shooting positions, how to clear common malfunctions, and more. Slings will not be used in this class. Please bring your rifle, at least one magazine, an empty chamber indicator (if you do not have an ECI, I will have some for purchase at the class), eye and ear protection, and at least 50 rounds of ammunition. Registration and pre-payment are required. Cost is $75 for BGSL members, $85 for non-members. There will be no refunds unless the class is cancelled.
