Intro to Birding Guided Walk

Join us for an Introduction to Birding Guided Walk at Purgatory Park in Minnetonka! All levels of experience are welcome. The event begins with a brief lesson on technique and local bird diversity, followed by a group walk to observe and learn about birds.
Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes for this slow-paced walk on easy to moderate terrain. We will cover ~1 mile total. Binoculars will be provided.
Skill level: Introductory
Instructor: Amy Simso Dean, Founder, Executive Director and Guide for MYBirdClub and co-founder of The Kestrels (an inclusive birding club for Minnesota women).

2 time slots: 8 - 9:30am & 10 - 11:30a

Due to limited capacity, this event is restricted to residents of one of the 7 cities of our watershed district: Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Minnetonka, Bloomington, Chaska, Deephaven and Shorewood.
