This class will focus on bee biology and behavior and how to get started as a beekeeper, including discussions of city and state regulations, required time and financial commitment, a demonstration of necessary equipment, and information on where you can get your own bees.
This is a classroom-based workshop, and after this classroom section, you will be primed to continue your bee education with a hands-on workshop.
