11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Intro to Adventure Riding Basics
Presented by Jack O’Connor, this session explores the fundamentals of adventure riding:
-Choosing the right bike size (small, medium, or large) and weight.
-Balancing comfort, capability, and practicality for different terrains and distances.
-Options for accommodations (camping, hotels, restaurants).
-Gear considerations for weather, fuel range, and packing essentials.
-Why starting small can set you up for long-term success.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Adventure Motorcycle Ergonomic Setup
Learn from Mike Bradway, PBAC instructor and former pro MX and enduro rider. Mike will demonstrate:
-Proper machine setup for adventure riding.
-Best practices for body positioning to enhance comfort and control on the trail.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: GPS Navigation for Adventure Riding
Tim Donaworth, 2024 Sand Blast Rally Overall Winner, will share insights on:
-The latest GPS technology for adventure riders.
-Tips for planning and navigating routes with confidence.
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Pine Barrens Adventure Camp and Riders
Join us for a slideshow highlighting 20 years of Pine Barrens Adventure Camp. Topics include:
-What’s coming in the 2025 PBAC season.
-Exploring the PA Wilds and PBAR/PA Wilds BDR-X.
