This class introduces the basics of editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. As the industry's preferred editing software Premiere can be daunting upon first glance. Our goal is to break down the application to the basic essential elements so you can get started on new creative endeavors!

This class will cover:

• The basics of non-linear editing

• File Management

• Workflow 

• Shortcut keys

• Tools 

• Exporting and more! 

This class is perfect for people who are brand new to video editing and want to learn a new skill. It’s designed as an interactive class with time for questions and hands-on practice. 

Recommended equipment:

Pencil and paper for note taking 

Laptop with Adobe Premiere installed and updated (Not required but recommended!)

Meet Your Instructor: Claire Davis

Claire Davis is a Photographer and Videographer with a degree in Video and Film Production from MTSU. She has worn many different hats when it comes to media production from Real Estate photography to Technical Directing live News Broadcasts. While Claire started her photography journey over ten years ago, she has a passion for teaching beginners and those new to the camera world!
