Into the Light Candlelight Vigil for Domestic Violence Awareness

The Into the Light Candlelight Vigil is a special time for community members to gather together in support of those who have been affected by domestic violence and to remember community members who lost their lives to domestic violence. At the Vigil, attendees will hear victory stories from survivors of abuse, and family members of "Silent Witnesses," women from our area who died at the hands of their partners, will share their stories.

Candles will be provided. This is the first of three events hosted by Bethany House of Northern Virginia in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Bethany House of Northern Virginia empowers women and children escaping domestic violence by providing safe, short-term housing and trauma-informed services.
