Into the Autumn Wood: A Journey of Movement, Scent, and Tea
About this Event
Step into the forest as the season turns.
Join us for a morning that moves through the body and the imagination together, guided by movement, breath, aroma, and tea. We begin in the center of the room and the center of the wood: the deep, ancient heart of the forest, where the oldest trees stand in low light and still air. From there we move outward through four stations, traveling from old growth to the sunlit edge of the woodland.
Along the way you'll breathe in the grounding scents of the deep forest, follow the resinous trail of a variety of woods and sip teas drawn from the woodland floor and its blooming edges like wild cherry bark, rose, and elderberry. Movement carries you through each part of the forest. Let the scent and the season move you.
