On January 30, 2026, Violence Free Minnesota will host a public memorial to honor the lives of those killed due to intimate partner violence in 2025. The event will take place at the St. Paul College Club on Summit Ave, and will also be livestreamed on Violence Free Minnesota's Facebook page.The program will feature several speakers who will address key issues regarding homicide and intimate partner violence. The program will close with a reading of the victims' names.
While this is a public event, we extend special invitations to family members and friends of those who have been killed due to domestic violence. We also extend express invitations to staff and volunteers of domestic violence programs, legislators, and criminal justice system personnel. Media is welcome to attend.
At this event, we will display our 2025 Clothesline Project, which features a t-shirt honoring each victim in last year.
