Intimate Dancing is a workshop where flow takes centre stage. The flow of your body, the flow of connection with others, the flow of music, the flow of emotions, the flow of experiences, the flow of life itself! We begin with a warm-up to arrive in the space and in your body. Then, we delve deeper into embodiment and boundaries. We work with intentions, therapeutic dance exercises, and progress towards guided free flow, allowing space for touch, dance, and/or meditation. We conclude with an optional sharing moment.

Through dance and intimate togetherness, you will get to know yourself and others better. Sometimes gentle, sometimes wild, sometimes loving, sometimes exuberant. Consent, trust, and safety are paramount in our interactions. We dance with respect for ourselves, each other, and everything around us. There is space to release tension, process emotions, and work through challenging parts. It is a space for coming together in unity.

Let yourself be guided. Unload and let go. Surrender. Slow down, grow, and flourish.

Intimate Dancing is a concept created by Joke De Winde and Piero Flor Baets. Joke is a dance therapist and also dances professionally in show business. Piero is an intimacy coach and organises intimate and touch positive workshops in Gent. They are the perfect match to bring Intimate Dancing into the world!

Joke creates an inviting atmosphere where everyone’s uniqueness can be expressed through dance and movement. With attention to limits and desires, Joke loves to guide people from diverse backgrounds in exploring the movement of their bodies, staying close to themselves and connected to others. Joke’s mission is to bring each person closer to their body and therefore to themselves, in a safe and gentle way.

Intimate Dancing
Ontdek de transformerende kracht van ‘Intimate Dancing’: waar flow, verbinding en zelfexpressie samenkomen in een harmonieuze reis van zelfontdekking en gedeelde liefde.

Intimate Dancing is een workshop waar flow centraal staat. De flow van je lijf, de flow van de ontmoeting met de ander, de flow van muziek, de flow van emoties, de flow van ervaringen, de flow van het leven! We starten met een opwarming om aan te komen in de ruimte en in je lijf. Daarna oefenen we verder in ‘embodiment’ en (be)grenzen. We werken met intenties, therapeutische dansoefeningen en groeien naar een geleide ‘free flow’ met ruimte voor aanraking, dans en/of meditatie. We ronden af met een vrijblijvend deelmoment.

Via dans en intiem samenzijn leer je jezelf en de ander beter kennen. Soms zacht, soms wild, soms liefdevol, soms uitbundig. Consent, vertrouwen en veiligheid staan voorop in de ontmoeting. We dansen met respect voor onszelf, elkaar en alles om ons heen. Er is ruimte om spanning te ontladen, je emoties te doorvoelen en uitdagende stukken door te werken. Ruimte om in verbondenheid samen te komen.

Laat je (ver)leiden. Kom ontladen. Geef je over. Vertraag, groei en bloei.

Joke creëert graag een uitnodigende setting om ieders eigenheid te kunnen laten bestaan in dans en beweging. Met aandacht voor limieten en verlangens houdt Joke ervan om mensen met verschillende achtergronden de beweging van hun lichaam te laten verkennen, dicht bij henzelf en in verbinding met de ander. Joke haar missie is om elk persoon dichter bij zijn/haar/hun lichaam en dus bij zichzelf te laten komen, op een veilige en rustige manier.
