The Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach to couples counseling will initially present an overview of the IFS framework, followed by a detailed explanation of the Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) process designed explicitly for couple interventions. The session will culminate in a live demonstration illustrating the application of this model.

Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) is a therapeutic method for couples grounded in the foundational principles of IFS, as developed by Dr. Richard C. Schwartz. Couples typically enter therapy seeking a sense of love, safety, and understanding while striving to enhance intimacy within their partnership.
