About this Event

The Special Operations Community is invited to join The Station Foundation for a meaningful day of service as we return to Wilmington National Cemetery to clean up the wreaths placed during the Wreaths Across America event.

This follow-up opportunity allows the SOF community to come together once again, ensuring that the wreaths honoring our veterans remain properly maintained. By participating, we continue the mission of Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to remembering, honoring, and teaching about the sacrifices made by our veterans.

Each December, Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at cemeteries nationwide, ensuring the memory of our fallen heroes lives on. Now, as we return to the cemetery, we’re given a chance to reflect, honor, and care for the markers of our heroes.

Volunteering for this cleanup event not only strengthens our bonds within the community but also reinforces values of gratitude and compassion. It’s a meaningful way to contribute to our local community while recognizing the ongoing sacrifices of our service members.
