An End-of-Summer Morning at the Splash Pad for SOF Mothers & Children
Summer doesn't ask permission to end. But before the backpacks come out and the schedules fill back up, there's time for one more morning of pure, uncomplicated fun.
SOF mothers and their children are invited to join The Station Foundation for a playful, low-key morning at the splash pad, a chance to laugh, cool off, make new friends, and soak up the last sweet stretch of summer together. This morning asks nothing of you except to show up, kick off your shoes, and let your kids remind you what it looks like to be fully present.
No agenda. No pressure. Just water, sunshine, and good company.
What to Expect
While the children play, mothers are invited to connect with new faces, familiar ones, and the unhurried kind of conversation that only happens when the kids are happily occupied. Whether you're new to the area, new to the community, or simply in need of a morning that feels easy, this is your space.

- 9:00 – 9:15 AM Arrival & Welcome
- 9:15 – 11:45 AM Splash Pad Play, Free Connection Time & Lawn Games
- 11:45 – 12:00 PM Informal Connection & Closing
What's Provided
- Refreshments and snacks
- Lawn games and simple activities for children
- A welcoming space to meet and connect with other SOF families
Don't forget: swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, and water shoes are recommended. This one gets wet.
Registration Information
You will only claim ONE (1) ticket per family and will be prompted to enter your child’s/children’s full name and age. Upon arrival, you will complete an additional waiver for yourself and your child/children.
This event is designed for mothers and children of all ages. Younger children will love the water play. Older kids are welcome to join in or simply hang out. Everyone belongs here.
New to Interwoven? Welcome, we're glad you found us. Our OutStation Facilitator, Teah Fagins, will reach out personally to share more about The Station Foundation's mission and confirm Special Forces affiliation before the event.
Registration & Cancellations Please complete all registration fields in full to secure your spot. Space is limited to keep the morning welcoming and manageable. If your plans change, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance so we can offer your spot to another family.
